Sailing in Florida

Sailing around Marathon, FL during Spring Break was a very nice break from the cold weather in TX. On the back of the boat is Gary who was a great First Mate.

Man on a Ketch

There once lived a man on a Ketch
Young women he wanted to fetch
But the maiden had written
And none of them smitten
As sailors were not a good catch

Who was courageous, clever, and canny
The tails he would lend
Would make your head spin
'till your head was mistook for your fanny

A good-natured young sailor was he

What a terrible old lady was she

Who had quite a strong spark
He played his brother
No match for the other!

The Charming Sailor

A charming young sailor was he
But the ladies however
Would often shout “Never!”
But that was never to be

Who raced around in a frenzy
The world she would travel
And never unravel
Until there were no places to see
